Overview (A Little About Me)I currently own and operate the new NRG Personal Training Studio in Ashmore on the Gold Coast. I am also training full time in boxing at the moment and hope to create an impressive career in the sport. Nutrition (Examples of My Diet)I adhered to a strict diet of mostly protein with very little carbs throughout the twelve weeks except of course on my cheat days which were awesome!!
On those days I would allow myself one item from my 'bad' food list, most of the time it was a zinger works burger or a sub with mayo!!
I follow a pretty strict diet year round although not as strict as in bodybuilding. I am able to consume more carbs due to the fact that I am performing so much cardio everyday as part of my intense boxing max sessions that I attend under the tutelage of Brett Pescud, a leading boxing trainer in Australia.
I try to have at least 6 meals a day with at least 40-60 gm Protein. I don't monitor carbs or fats in the off season but do get stricter closer to a fight if I am trying to make a certain weight.
I maintain body fat levels from around 9-12%. My favourite foods are anything from the chicken family, especially nandos chicken wraps!!
Awake - Cardio 2.4km run and stair runs followed by IDS Sports Multi Pro Whey Isolate Protein Shake, BSc L- Glutamine
Breakfast - 7 egg whites scrambled with little avocado
Pre Workout - IDS Creatine Xtreme, BSc L-glutamine and Syn-Tec HMB
Workout - Weights Session
Post Workout - IDS Sports Multi Pro Whey Isolate Protein Shake, BSc L- Glutamine and IDS Creatine Xtreme
Brunch - IDS Sports Multi Pro Whey Isolate Protein shake
Lunch - 200 gm Tuna/salmon, 1/2 Cup basmati rice
Afternoon - Protein Shake
Workout - BOXING MAX - 1 hour session
Dinner - 200gm Chicken Breast/Fish and veges
Before Bed - IDS Sports Multi Pro Whey Isolate Protein Powder
* Example diet, slight changes are made now and then depending on diet etc Competition HistoryI recently won the Ironman Bodyblitz Challenge through an intense training combination of boxing and weightlifting. My brother Jason (left) also participated in the challenge.
